Who knew that one community education class sixteen years ago could lead to a full-time career as a custom bookbinder? Well, it did, and Molly Lewis is the girl who took that class.
Since that genesis moment, Molly has taken many more classes. She has also taught classes, worked as a production bookbinder, worked as a production papermaker, apprenticed with book conservators, started her own business and bound countless beautiful books and boxes.
Molly’s aesthetic is unique. She appreciates simplicity, strength, beauty and purpose, all of which are reflected in her fine binding technique.
